We value the environment and strive to protect the lands and water of this area. Our values are to preserve First Nations Food Sovereignty and protect the Natural Resources that surround us.
The Lakes District of Secwepemculucw continue to be an important place for Lakes Division traditional plant, berry picking, hunting, fishing and trapping, as well as ceremonial and spiritual values. The Lakes Division is also popular for trail systems, site seeing, exploration, summer hiking and camping.
We value trying to improve the lives of others through the unique experiences of Indigenous Perspective. That we all share many things in common and play an important role in our communities and family dynamics. A part of our mission is to provide a safe, loving space for our customers to enjoy and to improve their overall Mental Health and being.
Our Background
Red Willow Adventures was established Jan 2023 by Nadine Durk. Nadine had a dream as a teenager, owning her own tourism business. She then went to school for Business Management and has always dreamed of all the possibilities and kept a journals of the ideas. Her family has always had a niche for business ideas and all the possibilities, it is like they were creating a space for her to keep dreaming and creating the life she wanted.
Nadine was raised by a fishing, hunting and gathering family in her childhood/teen years. Later in life, She started making space in her adult life to keep fishing, hunting and exploring the areas as a hobby and a lifestyle.
Business has been in her family for many generations through trading, barter and selling items. Nadine's grandfather was a
Hunting Guide, and her Great Grandfathers have all contributed a hold traditional trap-lines and territories. It will be good to keep up First Nations history by teaching people of past experiences by living it.

Red Willow Adventures is 100% Indigenous owned and operated corporation in the South Cariboo Region. Red Willow Adventures Ltd is a outdoors business. We specialize in Angle Guiding, Boat Tours, and Indigenous Knowledge of the Land and Waters.
Our uniqueness is having the Indigenous Background and being able to teach or have learning sessions about Indigenous Culture and Traditions, and a possibility of having Indigenous Cuisine.
